Exactitudes

Exactitudes is the work of Ari Versluis and profiler Ellie Uyttenbroek. Based in Rotterdam, their project chronicles the way people dress to belong to a group, offering a comment on the way people strive to stand out by ascribing to the dress code of a particular social group. It’s fascinating to flip through the collection.

I liked the least-common-denominator aspect, e.g., the composition of the poses. If one elderly woman relied on a cane, the others were positioned as if holding a cane, etc.
